Review on Qdees school.

Image
This post is merely on personal view of the Qdees kindergarten which I enroll my daughter in this year. The principal has recently posted in parents-teacher Whatsapp group that the franchise has been awarded SME Brand Excellence Award in Best Global Franchise Model 2016 by SME Malaysia. Well, the excellence award obviously meant for business specifically the people who want to make money from early learning institutions...the information does not really relay the significance for parents whose main concern is their children's well-being at the school.  Back to my parenting point of view, the reason I chose the school is I believe with certain standards to comply, I hope that my daughter will be taken good care of while I go to work. In short, no abuse. Image grabbed from Qdees website I paid over thousand include the monthly RM450 during registration in Dec 2016. The payment also include two (ugly) grey color uniform (with not-so-good)cloth quality, a set of...

CICA-Care and Hiruscar gel.

Image
The Cica care, do not really know how to pronounce it, cost me about RM113.50 for the size of 3cm x 12cm. That size can actually be cut into half, to fully cover my raised 12-year-old reddish keloid car. Pardon me for the ugly creature...which most of the time will scare children away, and make adults have second look of the gigantic 'paramesium'. The silicon and sticky strip can actually last about 2-4 weeks, so mathematically for 2 months, I only spend RM100++ for my treatment, which is a lot cheaper than doing laser/removal surgery. This is how it adheres to my skin, I really don't have to worry it will fall out as I do my work, or even during exercise...(except swimming). Occasionally, I will have strong urge to scratch my itchy patched keloid during sleeping time, because of what the Cica care is doing-depressing the scar. After about two weeks usage, the edge (the sides where I use to remove) becomes like above, is an indicator that it...

Bell's burger Kota Kinabalu (Personal)

Image
People around me have recently are abuzz about the Bell's Burger at Signal Hill, Kota Kinabalu.  I decided to give it a try and the post here is merely personal view.  Such publicity even lured foreigner to go to the place for dinner. Pardon me for the bad photograph of the food I ordered at the Bell's burger. I remember ordering lamb burger which is at RM7++. A little bit disappointed with how it was served. Splashes of chili sauce all over the fries. How am I supposed to share with my young child. The bun was quite soggy and the patty had taste but...did not fulfill my expectation. Nachos at RM3. Again, the sauce spoiled everything and nachos are obviously from the packed nachos sold at supermarket.  Ordered another dish- hot dog bun. It looks appetizing but cannot really finish them.  Maybe the selling point is the so called hipster ambiance, where staff prepare food from the mini bus. But, besides that, it was quite ...
