Sabah ice cream that won international award

Had a chance to taste the ice cream with goji berry flavor. 

Goji Berry, Sabah Froz ice-cream

Its cover is plastic, and the cup of about 100cc is made of paper. Looked around but there is no Halal logo, nor the calories amount.


Surprise, it is in orange color. Sweetness is 6.5/ 10.  And it is really creamy...

Have no idea how much it is priced. Only know that its selections of other seven flavors are using local ingredients- mango, tongkat ali, vanila, chocolate, coffee and etc.

It is labelled as Sabah Froz product, but owner of the company is Datuk Nasir from Sandakan.

They are available at Sutera horbour Marina jetty.

The 11th Time Is Not the Charm

This month, something unexpected landed on my lap. I was appointed person-in-charge for the bureau. Just like that — no warning, no ceremony, no survival kit. Nestle 10k Steps Aka World.Walking Day.

It was my second time joining 10k steps walking for the year. Here I am joining Nestle's World Walking Day in Tamparuli. Early in the morning, it turned out to be chaotic as organiser was not prepared to hand over t-shirts for those who came by 6am (although the itinerary told to collect them at 6am). People were yelling and pushing each other while the gate was opened.at about 6.30am. While waiting for the event to kickstart,we went to one of the coffee shops at this small Tamparuli town for breakfast. Here is the sneak peek of the inadequate roasted pork noodle cost us about RM5.50 each. It tasted like Mee Tuaran, although it was known as Mee Tamparuli.
