Nestle 10k Steps Aka World.Walking Day.

Image
It was my second time joining 10k steps walking for the year. Here I am joining Nestle's World Walking Day in Tamparuli. Early in the morning, it turned out to be chaotic as organiser was not prepared to hand over t-shirts for those who came by 6am (although the itinerary told to collect them at 6am). People were yelling and pushing each other while the gate was opened.at about 6.30am. While waiting for the event to kickstart,we went to one of the coffee shops at this small Tamparuli town for breakfast. Here is the sneak peek of the inadequate roasted pork noodle cost us about RM5.50 each. It tasted like Mee Tuaran, although it was known as Mee Tamparuli. The state sport minister fondly known.as Datuk JJ flagged off participants at about 7.30am, it was when the sun had emitted its unbearable heat. Luckily the walk had been reduced to 5,000 steps... When the crowd was released, it reminded me the himpunan hijau protesting the controversy LYNAS plant in Pahang. As w...

Loving My Marriage Life

It seems like after the second reception, I have kinda like the marriage life and actually have adapted the responsibility as a wife. In fact, I find the comfort to come home from work, start cooking for husband and later cleaning the house. After dinner, it is totally pleasurable to switch on dvd player and watch Grey's anatomy season 8 or other drama series. Although sometimes husband will drag and nag me to take bath, it could be irritating but at the same time I am relieve that someone does look after my wellbeing. My dad and I have always think a husband has to be someone smarter and will help in changing us to better person. I think he has that potential...especially in managing financial and also guiding in my career(although we are in different field). His sacrifice in forking money in both wedding receptions also touched the bottom of my heart. Cos I wont be willing to do that...and he is just one of the government servants. I hope Im embarking on the right tr...

Chinese cultural wedding.

I had just underwent my fourth and fifth wedding ceremony recently (the first having marriage or registration, then church wedding and later reception). Since the chinese ceremonies were held two weeks after the one I had in Sabah, therefore I had the lackadaisical attitude which quite annoyed my husband. And the day came, instead of being excited, I was quite irritated for knowing I had to wake up by 6am for the 3-hour makeup and hairdo session. And, the most torturing part was to endure my toilet urgency in a huge dress with another can-can layer in within. For Chinese, they played the girls fooled the bestmen and grooms prior to seeing the bride. So, I had my childhood bestie who was quite hardcore in torturing people. As for mine, she had asked them to sing national Anthem Negaraku, push up, write down 10 promises and dance the Oppa Gangnam-style. As the game finished, a lady, which my family called her as "Penghuluwati" because she was so manipulating and treated...

My First Night

Image
A lot of people asked about how's my first night. And most of the time, i'll answered them it was fine. But the truth is, -I will need someone to sit with me for hours to tell on the exact physical, emotional and thought. As the first night is equal to post-wedding reception, both of us were tired due to me had three hour makeup, standing on 3-inch highheels greeting people as well as dancing...(that had not included in few insomnia nightsnas I was worrying how the event will turned out).To cut thing short, we executed it by dawn..after we took few hours sleep. We decided to have it..because its now or never. Create the BIG history so that we will be proud to say we had our "FIRST" night. It went according to what the bible scriptures said- man has to deposit theirs into woman's body. I had to let it happened although I was a bit skeptical about it as Im afraid I will allergic to his sperms. Initially, I did feel a little discomfort with the foreign flu...

kedai Rakyat 1 Malaysia.

I found one such so-called cheap sundry shop for people of Sabah, next to BTC Kolombong. I thought those good will be exceptionally cheap, but its not. It has almost the same price as what other hypermarket offers... Mom said she didnt like the items there as the packaging is in white color with funny number one. Eventually' she only went there once and never want to go back to the place. At the back stated manufactured by JUTA BERSIH from Kuala Lumpur. Why not having those items from local? Above picture is the grade D egg priced RM11 for 30...is it considered cheap? posted from Bloggeroid

English dailies in Sabah.

The Borneo Post in broadsheet size, costs RM1.20 each is vailable at the vendors as early as 6am. For me the English is fairly good, it does cover community news as much as general issues. I've read repeated exclusive stories written by the senior reporters- as their names have been there for quite centuries, literally. Daily express is another bold newspaper as it dares to report on controversial issues such as the Kinabatangan river got polluted due to surrounding oil palm mill;the healthcare service in town which  sometimes it suggests the patients to come general hospital if only they are dying; I also solute the way the leadership being non-partisan in reporting opposition and rulling parties...I mean no twisted fact. I heard Daily Express has been doing well on crime stories as well... New Sabah Times, which is in tabloid, has a lot of Bernama stories. It saves someone's pocket to subscribe the online national agency news. Despite they use most of the Bernama...

Looper

Image
The first movie I watched with husband. went to Suria Sabah, and it costs us MYR10 each. Here is the synopsis I extracted from http://www.imdb.com In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe(Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by transporting back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis). Prior to watching this movie, I do like the concept of time-travelling. But I was wrong, the time-travelling was merely the storyline that lead to the core story of the rainmakers- a group of people who were assigned by the mob to kill members of Loopers in future. As the old Joe was back at his past, he seemed to be a different person than the current Joe. Old Joe deeply felt in love with a Chinese woman who got killed while the rainmakers came for him. Old Joe could not accept the gruesome tragedy and decided to change the past- by killing the three ki...
