Mentality of a headmaster- to enter university for better future

It has been two years after I graduated from public University, yet, I still cant find a job which match my education field. Thus, I have proven it to my dad, who happen to be a headmaster a.k.a the hardcore education person (well, this profession has always lead them to the mentality that their decision is the best), that higher education is not above all, will not guarantee jobs and etc. Recently, I made a distance call to him. Got to know that my cousin, 17-year-old dropped out lower form six to answer his vocation as a young priest. My dad went against his decision as he thought that Form six syllabus would better equipped his mind with better knowledge. I told the 55-year-old father that he could pick up general knowledge(through newspaper) and other media, and still can preached better. (I said this because the crap education system is already vanished after the exam). I believe he knows too that those who are Seminarian  will learn more, with hands-on experience, that is why c

The Lent season is not seasonal

Recently I posted about the moderation and being genuine in prayer and fasting during Lent season. Someone who is going to convert into Islam replied the post arrogantly, saying that it was pitiful as the act of kindness for Catholics is only during that time. (The person also opposed the Valentine's day similarly to other typical muslims). Lent, is a season to commemorate the temptation that Jesus had when he was in desert, able to handle it for his trust and faith in God's. For us, it is one of the special periods where we want to be in moderation and forbid ourselves from indulging in something against the God's will. But, it does not mean that it is just limited during that time.  Catholics are loving each other all along the year. Just because the person has no knowledge or refuse to learn the original religion, it does not permit one to lambasted so called intelligent comment based on his/her ignorant perspective, that's being unfair and foolish. For public&

Ghost-rider, the spirit of vengeance

Image
The  movie is a great superhero movie based on Marvels comics featuring Nicolas Cage as Johny Blaze. In this movie,  a young girl-Nadya made a deal to conceive the demon's child in exchange of the demon saving her life. As the conceived child Danny is turning 12, the satan has to look and capture him to perform a ritual. Danny's body serves as Satan's store to 'grow' his devil power, and on Danny's birthday, the Satan will retrieve the power. Blaze has to stop that from happening, or else the Satan will so called take over the world. In return, the ancient type of catholic priest will break his curse of becoming ghost-rider anymore. However, losing blaze's power is not necessary a good thing, he cannot save people anymore. At the climax of the story, it happened to be Danny is the one who return Blaze's power as the good-spirited ghost riders. Overall, it has an interesting story plot, with hilarious moments, and great action. P/s: Must see

U.R.S, the shoes brand that I am satisfied.

Image
Recently bought a pair of U.R.S shoes at the price of RM89.90 with 20 per cent discount. Pardon my ignorance as I never heard of this brand, compared to Hush Puppies, Sembonia, Carlo Rina and etc. But, I am in love with the design of this pair, as it has unique holes at the mid sole, I think it makes my feet look sexier and better 'airway'.    Look at the close up of the high-quality material, and I max-love the simple yet elegant design. I am quite particular on the "safety" of shoes. It's really annoying to encounter "mishap" when I walk down the streets. For this brand, the structure is well secured and I believe beside worn-out, it would not give me much trouble. I am a satisfied customer. ****************** Less than three weeks, as I walked on the gravelled pathway...the about 4cm-thick sole  cracked!!! cracked soles. I guess this brand is only for those who drive and walk less. I am going to find a cobbler t

The wedding diary

Image
This Singapore-Malaysia movie, directed by Adrian Teh deserved to receive applause from the audience.  The scenario-on burden of wedding reception cost has been causing a lot problems, especially to middle-income earners since centuries ago. Keat (Aniu) who met the beautiful Swan Tina (Elanne Kwong) had to fork out sums of money, as well as making debt with credit cards for the reception to please the rich in-laws. At the 100-table reception, Keat did'nt know most of the guests...well, it was the in-law's ideas too. In reality, it happens too, like why in hell are people inviting unknown or far-related relatives which it would not even indent any impression or improve the current relationship status. Since it is showcased a week before Valentine's day, an audience might query why such movie is released at that time? Unlike typical movie which broadcast so-called romantic element. The strength of this point is  the 'maturity of love' among human beings... Kea

I don't want to be possessed as someone's best friends.

Having buddy is not equal to other 'buddy' can  manipulate me on who should I befriend with, or not to befriend with the persons he/she dislikes, and to simply call me a name which is not the same as what my parents give since I was young. A friend, is also not someone whom I expect him/her to depend on me to pay everything that we eat, play, watch and also settling non-related debt at the name of 'friendship'. Not willing to have a 'sincere' friend who wish for something which is more than friendship-Sex...  Am also wanting to avoid friends who put the blame on me, when I am like 'What the hell is happening"?
