Review on Nexus Karambunai Resort




Booked last minute for Raya Haji public holiday via booking.com. Surprisingly, the rate was higher than making it via the resort official website. I had RM430 without breakfast, whilst the resort rate at that time was RM388 nett including breakfast.

We wanted to book Raintree and Golf Beach resort which is located at the same area in sepanggar, Kota Kinabalu Sabah, as the price is around RM200 with more spacious villa and lots more beachside games compared to Nexus.

I must say that Nexus Borneo seaview room offers breathtaking scene of sea with soothing music of the waves. other aspects were pretty disappointing for RM430. 



I was with husband and a toddler for vacation. When the child got hurt due to the facility, it ruined our mood during the two days one night stay.

The room is not carpeted, my child who toddles unsteadily fell on the hard wood and cried in pain. Although I stated in the booking that I would come with kid, but still I got a room with two HIGH single beds. How am I supposed to co sleep peacefully with baby when the risk of falllllliiiing hard on the floor is higher?

Carrying a 10kg baby around is not easy, and it becomes harder to walk under umbrella while it rains. Why can't the resort construct a covered walkway from the rooms to other facilities?

It frightened me to pass by the lake with MONITOR LIZARDS... Isnt that a toddler also got snatched and bitten by the reptile nowaday. Don't the management realise it is dangerous for patrons?

Worst of all...There's no water the following day. How to survive the day when toddler's milk bottle needs to be cleaned and etc?

When we called the operator, she just told us to wait like it is not her business.

Disappointing stay. Will never come to the place in future.

Review on Qdees school.

This post is merely on personal view of the Qdees kindergarten which I enroll my daughter in this year. The principal has recently posted in parents-teacher Whatsapp group that the franchise has been awarded SME Brand Excellence Award in Best Global Franchise Model 2016 by SME Malaysia. Well,the excellence award obviously meant for business specifically the people who want to make money from early learning institutions...the information does not really relay the significance for parents whose main concern is their children's well-being at the school.  Back to my parenting point of view, the reason I chose the school is I believe with certain standards to comply, I hope that my daughter will be taken good care of while I go to work.
