The dark knight rises (2012)
It's a movie that can't be missed this year for it's lots of surprising elements. Am quite admiring batman's(Christian Bale) access to futuristic technology such as its Bat, the black flying vehicle that is so agile and versatile to move around skyscrapers in Gotham (fictional American city in published DC comic). The vehicle has actually became the last resort to save the city as he had lost everything.
Screenwriters Christopher Nolan and his brother Jonathan have set interesting plots to put the batman's most "trustable" accomplice cum sudden girlfriend Miranda Tate(Marion Cotillard) as the traitor for batman's saving-the-city plan. It is quite surprising to find out that Miranda is also the legend of a child who escaped from the inescapable prison. Miranda's real name in screenplay is Talia, the daughter of Leagues of Shadow's leader Ra's al Ghul. She held grudge over Batman for he had killed her father and later refused to fulfill Ra's desire to destroy Gotham city.
I have to admit that batman had confused me that the child has to be Bane(Tom Hardy) as he was so powerful and unbeatable during the screening. In fact, Bane is just a man who love Miranda, and would like to do evil as long as that would help her.
Selina Kyle (Anne Hathaway) aka the catwoman emphasising the smoothness of her hair whenever she is in action. However, there's no formal/informal introduction that she is a catwoman in this movie. This time, she did behave like a cat who only does job if there's reward. At the end, suddenly she was in love with batman and Bruce Wayne.
I am awaiting detective Blake (Joseph-Gordon Levitt) to become Batman's helper. I did not expect that he will become the Robin, until the lady officer asked him why don't he use his full name.
Something strike my curious mind on Batman's fidelity...how can he easily kissed any woman?(first the Miranda, and later Selina...)
