Finally achieved the 52.2kilogramme body weight from 56kg in 6 months

Yes, I managed to lose the 4kilogrammes within 6 months. If you average it, it is indeed considered slow but steady. However, the losses happened in the trend of losing a bit, stagnant, yo-yo and the final two weeks were dropping very fast.

You guessed it, I probably lost some muscles in the process of achieving my recommended weight from doing almost daily 500 calories workout and intermittent fasting of more than 12 hours. In fact, at the time of writing, I am still losing beyond 50kg with empty stomach. My lowest body weight after I become an adult was 45kilogramme which was considered borderline in terms of BMI measurement.

Those unsteady losses (and gains) also attributed to my weight/strength training. There will be time when my Honor digital scale would warn me about low muscle mass and protein. Based on the reading, despite the suspicious of possible error, I still put more focus to address it--by having more strength workout and reduce cardio, eat more eggs, milk and meat.

Struggling to lose body fat percentage to 22 per cent

The sad news is (though I am not discouraged) my body fat is far from the healthy ratio of 22 per cent recommended reading. My initial body fat percentage was 31-32 per cent, which is high!!! My love for food (sometimes unhealthy) really slowed down my journey towards the goal.  Again and again, I read and listen to what kind of food that could lead to bad cholesterol, sometimes I am inspired not to touch them but surprisingly those contents make me want to have them.

The super slow habit change that I adopted include only drink plain water, reduce white rice consumption, eating less pastry/cake among others. But I find out that cutting a lot of red meat especially pork has helped to speed up the body fat loss. Within a month of cutting pork, beef, lamb (and of course more vegetables), the body fat percentage reduced to 29 per cent this morning.

Glucose Goddess' hack on fighting the glucose spike!!!

Have you heard about the hacks by glucose goddess? Probably her way of preventing glucose spike which led to inflammation, sluggishness and failed weight loss had also helped my journey.

It is simple: Drink vinegar before meal. The sequence of eating a meal should start with fibres, protein and then lastly carbs. Another trick if you have sweettooth, go ahead by following the sequence of eating the meal then do some at least 10 minutes of body movement after eating that dessert.

I hope my sharing also helps with your goal towards healthier lifestyle.
