Tips to drive in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor

It is a fallacy that driving manual car can bring you to hell. Me, being born with skilled hand-foot coordination am doing fine driving at the roads which always strucked with traffic jams. It is not true that you will have a developed calf after driving awhile as well, since there's a gear position called as 'Neutral' which you may rest, without having to pedal or release the clutch.

Getting lost in you direction? Yes, it happens to everyone. Even with the help by GPS that I bought. Bear in mind, be it a Garmin or Papago software, its going to help a bit by telling where you are and also piss you for giving a non-sense instruction. e.g Supposedly you may go ahead, but the machine will instruct you drive to the left and U turn and U turn.....In short, the GPS can never be smarter than human's brain.

Way-way RM299, Papago software- Easily heated when in used.

The alternatives will be google map, jot down the identified route-road name, landmark, buildings and etc. Of course, that is not going to be the ultimate solution, cos you still stand chances to lose. The most accurate is to ask around. (Be mindful to be extra care on who you ask, avoid from asking a suspicious stranger at a lonesome, dark area. A petrol station or taxi stand are the safer choice to ask around).

Having to face all the hassle, it is good to depart extra an hour to be on time- considering the lost and possibility of heavy traffic jams.

The most important thing is to ensure fuel is sufficient, good car condition and a prepared mental.

P/s: Still find it annoying, public transport is actually cater a comfortable way to reach destination since you can count on 'drivers', enjoy the trip, full-blast aircond, no worry of lose, traffic jam, toll and parking.
