Start the culture of paying angpow to bride and groom.

Wedding can be a costly event for the couple. And, ironically it is a must-do event to entertain others for the sake of entertaining the non-understanding parents and parents-in-law. The culture of giving angpow has been started in peninsular malaysia since ages ago as people there understand the meaning of financial burden. By giving 'reciprocal' angpow, in future they will help the guest or the guest's son's wedding by giving back the sam angpow amount to them. I think the system barter is effective and practical.

But, in Sabah, people take advantage in attending a wedding reception with the hope to eat free (and not because they don't have money). That is so cheapskate and selfish.

I am hoping for a good transformation in this barter system in Malaysia,

Review on Qdees school.

This post is merely on personal view of the Qdees kindergarten which I enroll my daughter in this year. The principal has recently posted in parents-teacher Whatsapp group that the franchise has been awarded SME Brand Excellence Award in Best Global Franchise Model 2016 by SME Malaysia. Well,the excellence award obviously meant for business specifically the people who want to make money from early learning institutions...the information does not really relay the significance for parents whose main concern is their children's well-being at the school.  Back to my parenting point of view, the reason I chose the school is I believe with certain standards to comply, I hope that my daughter will be taken good care of while I go to work. As I had made the reservation earlier, I was quite surprised when they asked what I would like to do with my hair. The saloon was quite small and crowded, but I believe that shouldn't be the reason they are slacking in their service.
