Of Blue And Pink

Husband and I have started buying stuff for baby at 31th gestational week.

 We find it hard to buy baby's cloth as most of them are available at gender based color. Blue for boy, pink for girl.

 I had my fetus scanned for few times already, yet, obstetrician had yet able to tell me that Bree is indeed Bree, or Bree might become Hobbit.

 Eventually, we purchased neutral color such as red, green, cream, brown and white. Of all that, we had spent about RM200 plus.

 Meanwhile, for Bree's disposable diapers. We really had no idea on which brand to go for as we concerned on how good it could absorb to prevent diaper rash.

Despite husband's point of view is to change Bree's diapers once it is soiled. But, I also concern on environmental issue.

 As we are new parents, we did struggle to find out what sizes should we buy for Bree. The answer is...Mamy Poko newborn which is less than 5kg. We bought Rm31.90 per packet that contains 48pcs. (RM0.70 each).

 Earlier, I also purchased a baby cot and a baby stroller at RM600 at Kids Avenue at KK times square. It is lot cheaper than buying them as single item. Delivery charge is RM30.

Review on Qdees school.

This post is merely on personal view of the Qdees kindergarten which I enroll my daughter in this year. The principal has recently posted in parents-teacher Whatsapp group that the franchise has been awarded SME Brand Excellence Award in Best Global Franchise Model 2016 by SME Malaysia. Well,the excellence award obviously meant for business specifically the people who want to make money from early learning institutions...the information does not really relay the significance for parents whose main concern is their children's well-being at the school.  Back to my parenting point of view, the reason I chose the school is I believe with certain standards to comply, I hope that my daughter will be taken good care of while I go to work.
