Gaya Street in Sabah.

Gaya Street, or the Sunday morning market, lined up with hundreds of stalls along five blocks of the central city of Kota Kinabalu is a must-visit for visitors. For shutterbugs, this is also a good place to get good pictures.

Pictures attached are the recommended buying at the market.

Pearls.

Seafood balls ( prawn, octopus, and crab crackers) originated from East Coast Sabah will definitely promise unforgetful craving after one try. Price ranges from RM5- RM30 depending on packaging sizes.

Orchids and other plants. Sellers are usually friendly enough to share caring tips.

There are also pets on sale, but didnt take pictures as it is not allowed.

I like the traditional crafting made from woods, or even shells. But haven't buy any yet as I am busy handing fast growing toddler.

It is definitely going to be a happy walk under the Sunday sun as the street will be aired with country or Chinese oldies songs. Even traditional gongs sound.

Otherwise, get a free Tenom coffee aroma- Arabica and Robusta coffee beans.
