Green Hornet movie review

The Green Hornet is an American radio and comic book masked vigilante created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker, with input by radio director James Jewell, in 1936. Since his radio debut in the 1930s, the Green Hornet has appeared in numerous serialized dramas in a wide variety of media. The character appeared in film serials in the 1940s, a network television program in the 1960s, multiple comic book series from the 1940s on,[1] and a feature film in January 2011. I am a great fan of Jay Chow. I like everything about him. My colleague watched the movie and recommended me to watch it.

Who knows, it is a huge turn-off.
The good-looking Jay Chow is fat in the screen. Big WHY???

Ok.. In a nutshell, this movie is about a whiteman, Britt, whose father owns a publishing company. As for him, he just knows how to play like a kid and dream to fight bad men.

When his dad passed away which is believed to be caused by anaphylactic shock (which in fact is killed by his hidden enemy)

Britt met a savvy technology man- Kato (Jay chow), who is able to get them advanced car which is complete with weapons. To make it perfect for them, Kato is a good fighter, good thinker and MATURE.

Britt, in other hand is just good for nothing. Acting know-it-all. Treated Kato as his side-kick partner only. The plot which he provoked Kato is irritating, and RACIST. I remember the 'Bruce Lee, my brother" movie, whereby the whitemen treated chinese/Asians like dog.

The point is Kato is indeed better than Britt, why on earth that Britt putting himself so high? I really dislike those kind of people, OLD, USELESS and CHILDISH. Just admit that other great people is greater than you, and learn from them, and you will be a better man!

According to my friend, the technology they used is also superb. My words, where got!!!!! Those things have been existed in cartoon long time ago...why still bring the same thing back.

In short, beside Jay Chow, what else is the attraction of the movie.

My review: 2/5
