There;s always agenda behind government's project, but at least the project might help the Sabahans to improve themselves or even help them get a job- by learning the courses that are offered by the government.

The renowned private college, AMC providing free training to any 18 and above adults to learn various vital courses include
  • Languages- Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean
  • ICT- all sorts of, you just have to have a look on the list. Oh yeah, it has also facebook and twitter course, which I had registered for my ICT illiterate mother. I wish there will be Skype too so that I could chat with family. 
  • Accounting courses
FYI, the courses are free, students will be provided with books and coupon for lunch and dinner. (T& C applied).

This government project covered statewide, inclusive some of the interior areas,  again, have to check on the website.

It is a shame that as a local, I only get interested to taste fresh Sinalau Bakas at Kampung Kelawat. A stop enroute to Kundasang from Tamparuli. Just key in Kampung kelawat in waze or google maps for the direction.  In this post, I will share my own experience having the food at the Kampung.  Meet Mariana, a local who runs the stall for the past eight years. She gets the supply from Lahad Datu.  Fresh wild boar grilled above low fire made the meat tender and fragrant.  RM20 per kilogramme.  You may choose the fatty part or lean meats. It is priced at RM20 per kilogramme. Some said the meat used to cost at RM15 per kilogramme only.  A choice of the fatty part or ribs.  I recommend to try both. Chinese cultural wedding.

I had just underwent my fourth and fifth wedding ceremony recently (the first having marriage or registration, then church wedding and later reception). Since the chinese ceremonies were held two weeks after the one I had in Sabah, therefore I had the lackadaisical attitude which quite annoyed my husband. And the day came, instead of being excited, I was quite irritated for knowing I had to wake up by 6am for the 3-hour makeup and hairdo session. And, the most torturing part was to endure my toilet urgency in a huge dress with another can-can layer in within. For Chinese, they played the girls fooled the bestmen and grooms prior to seeing the bride. So, I had my childhood bestie who was quite hardcore in torturing people. As for mine, she had asked them to sing national Anthem Negaraku, push up, write down 10 promises and dance the Oppa Gangnam-style. Pegawai Tadbir dan Diplomatik exam tip-off

Recently sat for PTD exam-May 12 2012 There are 5 sections for the first stage. A, B and C are multiple choice questions, while the rest are essays. For section A, 60 questions are mostly on government's propaganda such as  the objectives of NKRA, NKEA, greater Kuala  Lumpur, Iskandar, PLKN and etc. Also focus on the ministries and its government agencies. For example, RISDA is under which ministry?The function of Bank Negara... Other than that, current issues will be asked- such as where did the spaceship that Malaysian astronaut landed? Which countries are in NATO group?focus on world financial crisis as well. General knowledge: Nobel prize winners, ICT application and etc. Moving on to section B, solving problems.
