Majestic Dragon Festival at Pavillion 2012

 
Eversince Pavilion shopping centre unveiled in 2002,  it has always tried to make the best festival decoration for shoppers.

This year of dragon, the management has specially imported the gigantic dragon from China as displayed at the centre atrium of the shopping mall to amaze city folks.

In addition to that, as seen in the pictures, the exhibitors cum traders are all from China. Expect to see the creative and authentic arts like caligraphy, stone engravement, chinese knots, inner-bottle painting and etc.

There's also a Qing dynasty Pot that is being exhibited there, which so-called the Emperor used it to call rain. It is said that those who can produce high-pitched sound while rubbing the lips of the pot would be lucky.



Above video is the dragon beard candy making by a China Sifu. Each tray of the candy priced at RM12. 


Besides the exhibition, there are also celebrity appearances such as artists from 'Ah Beng The Movies' (Jan 14, 7pm) and 'The viral factor' Jay chow (Jan 15, 7pm), 'The Wedding diary'- Aniu and Elanne Kwong (Feb 4,11am).

Review on Qdees school.

This post is merely on personal view of the Qdees kindergarten which I enroll my daughter in this year. The principal has recently posted in parents-teacher Whatsapp group that the franchise has been awarded SME Brand Excellence Award in Best Global Franchise Model 2016 by SME Malaysia. Well,the excellence award obviously meant for business specifically the people who want to make money from early learning institutions...the information does not really relay the significance for parents whose main concern is their children's well-being at the school.  Back to my parenting point of view, the reason I chose the school is I believe with certain standards to comply, I hope that my daughter will be taken good care of while I go to work. As I had made the reservation earlier, I was quite surprised when they asked what I would like to do with my hair.
