Husband told me to run for anomalies test as I've reached 21 week. His friend recommended Kissey clinic at Jalan Lintas which he heard has the facility and expertise. But, it turned out they only do the scan for first trimester preganancy. They referred me to Dr.John Teo, a specialist in Obs and Gynae, whose clinic is just across the road near Lintas Maybank.
I made a call to assure there's such service, however, the clinic's nurse or assistant said there's no such facility in that clinic BUT ONLY Dr.John Teo could refer me to the other center.
To my surprise, I just visited the clinic as it is nearby, the lady in the phone INSISTED that I had her doctor's consultation service before he could issue the letter.
As I was following husband's order, I was willing to pay for the consultation service. But, it really put me into temptation to burst when I had to wait for almost two hours. It was totally a devastating wait to the extend next lady of about 8-month pregnant was suffering from pressure sore.
I googled and rang the specialist clinic, which is the Sabahcare Specialist center. After explaining on the situation, they asked me " who is Dr.John Teo? Why need his referral? We could just arrange an appointment for you from our site"... That time, I was really angry over the unethical nurse in Dr John Teo's clinic or whoever had instructed her to do so. That is so money-minded in treating patient- especially to moody pregnant mother and good in making complaints!!!
Eversince that experience, Ive always pose question on " how long is the waiting period? Do I get discount if I wait more than what it should be?"....
