Yvonne Lee's Third book- Madnes aboard!

I have came across her books many times at many bookshops. I knew it was going to be fun-reading material Out of the blue, I finally bought it. (That time, I just received my offer letter stating that I am entitled for RM120 book allowance monthly)

The writing concept is more to blogging style with no formality and restricted to the writer's own style.

Her true experience as a cabin crew is an advantage in composing them. As a frequent traveler, I used to think that they were so annoying, walking past of me all the time, they gave me feeling that they were like flies.

Through her kaleidoscope, I know their importance in attending troublesome passengers- especially children. (despite of categorizing them as needed-to-be-protect minor, they could be very devilish if given too much of protection).

And I was like, " Wow, the stewardesses are prone for sexual harassment and  people really dare to have sex in the aircraft too"

So much things to learn-- I wished I have friend who works in airline industry. But, by reading the book, I could skip that part.

I spent less than 6 hours to finish it- with a lot of laughter and sometimes grinning...

Review on Qdees school.

This post is merely on personal view of the Qdees kindergarten which I enroll my daughter in this year. The principal has recently posted in parents-teacher Whatsapp group that the franchise has been awarded SME Brand Excellence Award in Best Global Franchise Model 2016 by SME Malaysia. Well,the excellence award obviously meant for business specifically the people who want to make money from early learning institutions...the information does not really relay the significance for parents whose main concern is their children's well-being at the school.  Back to my parenting point of view, the reason I chose the school is I believe with certain standards to comply, I hope that my daughter will be taken good care of while I go to work. Will people aged 40 and above still can find decent jobs?

A casual chat with a friend aged 40 and above struck me hard when she said age does play a role in determining a person can still look for new job.  Her recent cases where she no longer has better opportunity or responses like when she was young when trying to enquire for new jobs or pay-per-project. The limiting factor is her age despite having vast experience under her belt.  Probably with more experience, employers are worried or not so keen in paying more for the experience although it could mean that the jobs can be done better and faster.
